Installation instructions

1. Open Data Sources in Veltrix and click Connect on the Square tile.

2. Sign in to Square and choose the seller account you want to connect.

3. Approve the read-only permissions. Veltrix starts pulling your Square data immediately.

Will connecting Veltrix change anything in my Square account?

No. Veltrix uses Square's official secure connection to read your sales data only. Veltrix cannot create, edit, or delete Orders, Payments, Customers, Catalog Items, or any other Square record.

Does Veltrix support multiple Square locations?

Yes. Every Square location you have is automatically included. Veltrix can show you each location separately or combined, and answer questions like "Which location is performing best this month?"

Can Veltrix reconcile Square against my accounting tool?

Yes — when Square is connected together with QuickBooks or Xero. Veltrix compares Square deposits, refunds, and payments against your accounting records, and tells you exactly where they don't match.

How does Veltrix handle Square's reporting limits?

Square does not expose a direct reports API, so Veltrix calculates Sales Summary and Payment Summary metrics from the underlying Square data on a monthly basis. The data Veltrix reads — Orders, Payments, Customers, Catalog Items, Invoices, Subscriptions, Locations — comes from every Square channel, including Square Online and Square's vertical apps.

Does the Square integration cost extra?

No. The Square integration is included in every Veltrix plan — Starter, Core, and Pro — at no extra cost. Veltrix's pricing is based on seats and plan tier, not on the number of Square locations you have or which tools you connect.

Can I disconnect Square from Veltrix later?

Yes. Go to Settings → Data Sources → Square → Disconnect. Veltrix immediately stops reading new Square data and removes its working copy of your Square data within 30 days.
