Installation instructions

1. Open Data Sources in Veltrix and click Connect on the Microsoft 365 tile.

2. Sign in to Microsoft 365 and choose the work or school account you want to connect.

3. Approve the read-only permissions. Veltrix starts pulling your Microsoft 365 data immediately.

Will connecting Veltrix change anything in my Microsoft 365 account?

No. Veltrix uses Microsoft's official secure connection (Microsoft Graph) to read your activity data only. Veltrix cannot send emails, create calendar events, edit OneDrive files, or change anything in your Microsoft 365 account.
Which Microsoft 365 plans does Veltrix support?

Veltrix's Microsoft 365 integration supports business and enterprise Microsoft 365 accounts (paid subscriptions only). Personal Microsoft accounts are not supported.
Will my IT admin need to approve anything for Microsoft 365?

Possibly. Reading OneDrive files shared across your organization may require admin consent in enterprise tenants — this uses the Files.Read.All scope. Veltrix will guide you through this step during setup.
Are Microsoft Teams chat messages included in this integration?

No — not in version 1. Veltrix reads Teams meeting data (derived from Calendar): Teams Meetings Held, Total Teams Meeting Minutes, and Average Teams Meeting Duration. Teams chat messages require a separate Microsoft permission and will be evaluated for a later version.
Does the Microsoft 365 integration cost extra?

No. The Microsoft 365 integration is included in every Veltrix plan — Starter, Core, and Pro — at no extra cost. Veltrix's pricing is based on seats and plan tier, not on the size of your Microsoft 365 tenant.
Can I disconnect Microsoft 365 from Veltrix later?

Yes. Go to Settings → Data Sources → Microsoft 365 → Disconnect. Veltrix immediately stops reading new Microsoft 365 data and removes its working copy of your Microsoft 365 data within 30 days.
