Installation instructions

1. Open Data Sources in Veltrix and click Connect on the Google Analytics tile.

2. Sign in to Google and choose the GA4 property you want to connect.

3. Approve the read-only permissions. Veltrix starts pulling your Google Analytics data immediately.

Will connecting Veltrix change anything in my Google Analytics account?

No. Veltrix uses Google's official secure connection (analytics.readonly scope) to read your GA4 data only. Veltrix cannot edit reports, change property settings, or change anything in your Google Analytics account.

Does Veltrix support Universal Analytics, or only Google Analytics 4 (GA4)?

Google Analytics 4 only. Universal Analytics was retired by Google in 2023, so Veltrix supports GA4 properties only.

Does Google Analytics integration work without e-commerce on my site?

Yes. Veltrix pulls traffic, engagement, acquisition, and audience metrics from any GA4 property. E-commerce revenue metrics (purchases, cart events, refunds) specifically require GA4 e-commerce events to be set up on your site or app, with value, currency, and items parameters.

Can Veltrix tell me if my ads are actually profitable?

Yes — when Google Analytics is connected together with QuickBooks or Xero. Veltrix compares ad spend reported by GA4 against revenue actually collected in your accounting tool. To pull ad data, your GA4 property must be linked to a Google Ads or AdMob account in GA4 Admin → Product Links.

Does the Google Analytics integration cost extra?

No. The Google Analytics integration is included in every Veltrix plan — Starter, Core, and Pro — at no extra cost. Veltrix's pricing is based on seats and plan tier, not on the number of GA4 properties you connect.

Can I disconnect Google Analytics from Veltrix later?

Yes. Go to Settings → Data Sources → Google Analytics → Disconnect. Veltrix immediately stops reading new Google Analytics data and removes its working copy of your Google Analytics data within 30 days.
